Maths 4 Fun in Japan

For two weeks our parents have been learning different maths games  using dice, cards, counters and shapes. Today was our first day going into the classroom to practice what we learned. Denise, Galina, Marie and Maebh had loads of fun teaching and playing the games with the children.

Learning addition and subtraction can be great fun when you make a game out of it. The children in Japan were fantastic! They played really well, and were very good at taking turns and had so much fun with Maths.  We are already excited for next week.

It is a great thing to get involved in your child’s education. There is no greater gift you can give them than your time.  Keep your eye out for anything happening in your own child’s class this year, and take the opportunity to get involved
