This week in China class we’ve been really busy. Most of us finished our Space projects and we are looking forward to beginning a new project about the Himalayas and Mount Everest. We covered balloons with newspaper in order to create our own papier mache planets and used the website www.kidsastronomy.com to research each planet.
We also invented new animals this week and described all their characteristics. One person crossed a donkey with a butterfly!
In order to remind us to include others and to be open and friendly, we watched a short film called ‘For the Birds’. We decided to rewrite the ending, have a look at our display to find out more!
Our expert of the week was Ephraim who talked to us about Vikings. and we also had some guests today from from Romania class who also invented their own animals, they came up with some brilliant ideas!
