End of week news

Many thanks to all parents and students for how safely they have entered and exited the building so safely in the frosty weather this week. It makes the atmosphere so much nicer when everybody takes that extra minute to ensure the safety of us all. Preparations for the winter Fayre are ongoing and the committee are looking for volunteers as well as donations for the raffle and teddies. Santa will make his annual appearance from my office and there will be lots more fun in what is always one of the highlights of the year in the school.

This weekend we will be making our school garden “rabbit proof”. This will ensure all our vegetables and flowers will flourish from now on. The gardening club have also been doing great work every Friday with Margaret. If anybody would like to help with finishing our mural you can contact gráinne at grainne@lucaneastet.ie and she will provide you with paint and brushes. Our mural painting afternoon was a great success and we just need some parents to do the finishing touches.

Make sure that you receive our friday enewsletter by subscribing on the home page of the website. You can also update your contact details if you have changed phone number or address via our website.
