Book Fair

This week we had our annual Book Fair in the school. The children had great fun looking at the books and picking one to buy and bring home. We are overwhelmed at the support this event has received from the parent/guardian body and would like to extend our deep appreciation for this support. This is a great event as it promotes reading with our pupils and generates much needed funds to buy books for the school at the same time. A huge thank you to Sinéad (our HSCL teacher) and the PTA for organising and running this event. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Discover Primary Science STEM Award 2020/21

This week we received an award of a plaque for our students’ great work in Science Technology Engineering and Maths. This is our 5th time to receive this award and we are very proud of all of the work our students and teachers did to achieve this. A huge thank you to Paula for organising our application also. Comhghairdeachas libh go léir!

Book Day 2021

We will be holding our annual Book Day on Friday 22nd October. On this day we encourage all staff members and children to dress up as a character from a book – which could be anything at all. Costumes can be made, bought or borrowed. This day is always great fun for our students and we are really looking forward to seeing their weird and wonderful costumes.

Principal’s Award

Below you will see a picture of our 4 Principal’s Award Recipients this week. A huge WELL DONE to these students. I can’t wait to see who receives it next week!
