Denmark class have settled in very well into senior infants and have had a great first month in their new classroom. We have done lots of learning and had lots of fun too! The children are particularly interested in learning about autumn and have brought me in some really nice things for our nature table. We have collected colourful leaves, fir cones, berries, some helicopters, a conker and Susie even brought us in a deer’s antler that she found in Phoenix Park! The children did leaf rubbing to make autumn trees and also made clay hedgehogs. We really enjoyed reading a story about Hodge the hedgehog and writing about autumn in the writing copies. Well done for all your hard work Denmark class! Keep it up, from Maria 🙂
