On Thursday Fiji and Finland Class went on a class trip to Lucan Library. They traveled on a double decker bus which was great fun and some Junior Infant parents came along with us. When we arrived at the library our local librarian Laura spoke to us about the library and the importance of reading from a young age. The children then split up into groups and our parents and teachers read a range of picture stories. This was our last day of the CLOVER Project in Junior Infants this year. Many Thanks to all parents who took part in the project, we hope you enjoyed coming into class and our trip to the library and that it is the start of a good relationship with books and the local library service!!
