The link below is a Question and Answers document provided to us by the Department of Education and Skills about the precautionary measures that have been put in place in buildings like ours. There are images in this document which will give you an idea of what the precautionary external measures look like.
The external precautionary measures are currently being put in place in Lucan East ETNS and will be completed and certified by this evening. The internal precautionary measures do not apply to us as our internal walls are completely safe and are not in need of any intervention.
The PE hall and staffroom area has been signed off as being completely safe both internally and externally.
As a result of these external precautionary measures all children will line up in the PE hall in the mornings until remedial works have been completed.
Classes will exit from the same doors as usual at hometimes.
The staff have a system worked out for playtimes too as all of our play space is not available for use presently.
We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but are delighted that we can all return safely to school tomorrow and look forward to seeing all of our students again.
