The Annual General meeting will take place at on the school on Wednesday 17th September at 7pm.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
- Minutes from secretary of last year
- Treasurers report
- Principal’s Report and Board of Management report
- Election of officers
- A talk for parents on second level schooling by our our home school teacher Tom Costello
- AOB
The eight years of primary school goes by so quickly and I know that many parents will be interested in attending for the talk on second level schools. Our first graduating class started in second level school last week and many others will follow them in the coming years. I urge as many parents as possible to come along and get involved. It really helps your child’s progress when they see you taking an active role in their education
The PTA and wider parent body in Lucan East Educate Together play an important role in the school, with activities including volunteering in the classroom and other school workshops, working on policy committees, and organising social and fundraising events. We had such a wonderful year last year which culminated in the summer fayre. I would like to thanks all the committee who gave their time so willingly. Every member of the adult school community is a member of the PTA. I am really excited to find out what the next chapter brings in the story of the PTA.
