Clothes, clothes and more clothes!

China class has been busy with clothes over the last week or so. We have been learning all of our Éadaí vocabulary during Irish. We had a debate in the class about school uniforms during our English oral lesson. Some of us did a reading comprehension about jeans and learned that denim jeans got their name from the town of Nimes in France. In music we have been working with My Hat has Three Corners and The Tailor of Gloucester.

We tested materials in science to see which type made the best tea bag and decided that something in between tissue paper and kitchen paper would probably be most suitable. We also discussed materials, which can be recycled in the school, during Geography lessons.
