Seachtain na Gaeilge
Bhí a lán rudaí ar siúl sa scoil an tseachtain seo chun Seachtain na Gaeilge a céiliúradh. Bhí na ranganna go léir ag déanamh achmhainní difriúla m.sh. ‘Óga Yóga’, An Céilí Mór, An Siopa Gaeilge, Tráth na gCeist, Banna Ceoil ó Coláiste Cois Life agus a lán rudaí eile. Bain na páistí a lán taitneamh as. Beidh an Lá Glas agus Gaeil ar siúl an tseachtain seo chugainn freisin.
This week all of our classes have been busy doing activities to celebrate and engage in Seachtain na Gaeilge. We’ve had ‘Óga Yóga’, An Céilí Mór, Tráth na gCeist, An Siopa Gaeilge, Banna Ceoil ó Coláiste Cois Life as well as a lot of other things. The children have all really enjoyed it so far and are looking forward to our Green Gaeilge Day next Wednesday.
Heritage in Schools
This week we also had a Heritage in Schools expert, Dale Treadwell, in to do workshops in all classes from 1st to 6th. The workshops were about Biodiversity in the older classes and insects and dinosaurs in the younger classes. It was great to welcome such expertise to the school again and the children really enjoyed it.
