The first half term has flown by I would like to thank you all for your support in making the school go from strength to strength. There is a great atmosphere of fun and learning around the school and we are enjoying the freedom and possibilities that our new building gives us.
I would like to pay tribute to the staff of the school who give their best every day in an atmosphere of cutbacks and rising class sizes which are effecting all schools in the Lucan area. It is important that our children are given the chance they deserve and that cuts to Education are kept to a minimum in the upcoming budget. I would like to ask all our families to make this clear to our local political representatives should they meet them in the coming months. The school is closed next week for the mid-term break and will reopen on Monday November 7th. We now have 120 subscribers to our weekly enewsletter out of our 225 families. Please encourage all parents to subscribe and save the environment and money for the school. I would like to wish you all a pleasant week off.
Go raibh maith agaibh,
Eddie Fox
