Maths for Fun has now started back again and we had our parents’ session today. The parents are having fun learning all the games. In a short while they will go to their childrens’ class and run the activities in the classroom. Everyone has great fun and the pupils learn at the same time. Perfect!
English classes for adults have started again for this term and we are delighted that they are going so well. Carol Montgomery is our teacher and these classes are for beginners or for those at a basic level of spoken English. The classes are on Thursday mornings upstairs in the Parents’ Room from 9.30 until 11.30am. Those outside the Lucan East community are also welcome to join. Call Tom at 0860261061. Classes for the more advanced English speaker will be starting again soon in Esker School on Adamstown Avenue. They will take place on Mondays at 11.30 and will also run for 2 hours. All welcome.
