More good news
Another great week has been and gone here in Lucan East. I cannot explain how heart warming it is to have our school live and kicking with all of our students back! Lucan East ETNS is back to the way it should be.
Tesco Blue Tokens
One of our families submitted an application for Lucan East ETNS’s outreach classes for students with ASD to be included in the Tesco Blue Token Scheme. As a result we have received €333 towards equipment for these classes and are hoping we can put this money towards much needed resources. We are working on a project using this money at the moment and are excited to tell you more about it when we are 100% sure it is going ahead. Watch this space 🙂
6th Class Gardening Project
Both of our 6th classes have been working hard to create a new school garden for their Graduation Project. So far they have planted apple, pear and plum trees and a native Irish hedgerow along the railings. They are organising new flower beds and have lots more ideas in mind which they hope to action before the end of term. Here are some pictures of them putting their green fingers to good use.
That’s all the news for now. We hope you all have a lovely break over the next 2 weeks and look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Monday 12th April.
Warm regards,
Gráinne
