We were so busy before the break that we didn’t have time to keep you updated so here it is.
In the weeks leading up to Easter we have been learning all about 1916 and the important events that happened that year. On Tuesday 15th of March we raised the national flag with a flag raising ceremony. Even though he had been sick Ronan did a great job representing our class and read out his proclamation for Ireland in the future.
The day of the holidays was very busy. In the morning we made some Easter nests with cornflakes, chocolate and mini eggs. We even had a fluffy chick to finish them off. Our Easter treats were delicious!
This term will be a busy one with gardening, school tours, sports day and lots of other adventures. keep a look out for our newest and up to date posts to see what we are doing.
