This week France Class have been learning all about Rosh Hashanah, the festival of the Jewish New Year. This festival happens in September and the celebrations usually last for two days. During this time Jewish people greet each other with “L’Shanah Tovah!” which means Happy New Year. At home special foods are eaten such as challah bread and apples dipped in honey. France class tried out this tradition, some of us thought it tasted delicious but some of us thought it was too sweet!

We had lots of left over apples so for Art we decided to do some apple printing and had lots of fun making different patterns. You will find these on the Learn Together display board near the main entrance.
