Remote Whole School Assembly
Today we were delighted to hold our second remote Whole School Assembly. Every class in the school joined in via their teachers’ laptops. This allowed us to celebrate all of our students’ and staff members’ birthdays, our Stars of the Week and Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine winners and to hear a performance of Dermot Kennedy’s song ‘Outnumbered’ together.
Home Learning on Website
I would like to thank all of our parents for their cooperation in keeping their children home from school when they are sick. Our support team have been working hard to prepare work for students to do during these absences. If your child is home for any reason and you would like them to do some school work you will find it on the Home Learning Tab on our school website: http://lucaneastet.ie/home-learning/
When you click on this link you there will be a list of all of the class levels. If you choose the class level your child is in (e.g. 2nd Class) there will be work available here every week.
A big thank you to all of our support teachers for the work they are doing for this every week.
Reminders 🙂
Please remember to
- have a clean hand towel in your child’s bag every day
- ensure your child washes their hands before coming to school
- remind your child about hand hygiene and cough etiquette
We have done well so far by working together and hopefully by continuing to do so we can keep everyone safe and well.
Warmest wishes,
Gráinne
