Another busy week has been and gone here in Lucan East ETNS.
This week our 1st-5th class students got to complete an archaeology workshop where they found human bones, animal bones, and items from the past. It was greatly enjoyed by all and thank goodness the rain held off.
6th class were lucky enough to have inflatable games in the school today. There was baseball, frisbee, basketball and football games and they had a great time.
6th class really deserved this reward for all of the work they put into their fundraising for the Jack and Jill foundation. They raised a massive €700 for their chosen charity and had a zoom call with the Jack and Jill foundation today during which they were thanked for their generosity, time and hard work. A massive WELL DONE to Peru and Iceland Class!
Sean (our caretaker), Sinéad (our HSCL teacher) and the parents were hard at work in our school garden again this week and it is looking better than ever. This is going to be a great additional place for our students to learn and we cannot wait to make the most of it with the children next year. Míle buíochas to all involved.
Finally, a massive THANK YOU to Garda Suzanne who came to visit our students from Ireland and Ghana class in the Garda car on Tuesday. The children learned so much and had a great time. Go raibh maith agat Suzanne.
