Book Fair
A BIG Thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair last week, it was a great success. With the help of the Parents Association we were able to open the book fair for sales on two days. Over €3,000 in book sales were made, 60% of this being returned to the school to purchase books. This will be a wonderful asset to our school and classroom libraries.
Winter Cards
This week in school the children have been working on their winter cards. The template will be brought home for you on Friday or Monday to look at and decide how many packs of cards you might like to purchase. Card templates need to be returned to the school by the 19th October and payment should be made via Aladdin.
1 pack of 12 cards costs €10
Last year the money raised from our winter card fundraiser went towards the purchase of an interactive white-board.
There is, as always, no obligation to purchase but your support will be welcomed.

Our Green School & Parents Gardening
Our school is important to us. The children have been participating in the #greenschools initiative ‘Tidy up Thursday’by cleaning up rubbish and plastic that has blown onto our school grounds. 5th class students will be planting bulbs and Ghana class have harvested tomatoes from our school garden.
Our parents gardening group will be meeting next Friday 22nd October. We will meet at 9:30am.
Please come and lend a hand, with the help of parents we can make the school a place the children can be proud of!
